Raymond Scott - Soothing Sounds For Baby (1963)

Raymond Scott (1908 – 1994) was an American composer, orchestra leader, pianist, engineer, recording studio maverick, and electronic instrument inventor... A nice fellow.

Here are 3 LPs from 1963.

The first volume is music designed for babies from 0 to 6 months.
The second from 6 to 12.
And the third, from 12 to 18 months.

That's a c.o.n.c.e.p.t. !

Check out this vintage electronic music and breed your children S.M.A.R.T !

links removed -- grab'em on amazon!

Don't forget to visit 36-15-moog.blogspot.com for MUCH MUCH more ambient......

Thanks alot for this incredible work. Very ahead of its time sound with a soothing quality perfect for viewing the stars by or playing as background music while exploring the wilderness in some computer rpg game like MORROWIND and OBLIVION.

Thanks so much for posting these vintage albums. Raymond Scott was truly before his own time.

Your site is incredible and allows access to many unpurchasable gems from the past.

Unfortunately these releases, along with Manhattan Research inc. are being painstakingly put together by a team of Raymond Scott devotees in collaboration with the Raymond Scott estate.

I think you should replace the download links for these releases with the amazon or Raymond Scott website links out of respect for the amazing work that these folks are doing.

That said, keep up the good work on providing early rare moog music!
